She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Schildknecht and Edythe Schildknecht; her husband Carrel Smith; and her sister Ethel Ware. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Smith (Diane) and Janice Siewertsen (John); her grandchildren, Matthew Smith (Mindy), Todd Smith, Jennifer Porter (Josh), Chris Siewertsen (Dana) and Emily Klock (Cam); and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Henry, Jack and Joseph.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Highlands Funeral Home (3331 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40205). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
