With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Marie O'Bryan Cissell of Louisville, Kentucky, born in Springfield, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 19, 2024 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Harold Cissell; her parents, Thomas Walter O'Bryan and Mary Alice Badgett O'Bryan; and her siblings, Mike, Junior, Bernard, Foster, Buddy, Bob, Joe, Freddy, Billy, Martha and Jane.

She is survived by: her sister Christine (Rick); her children, Tom (Lisa) and Anne Michelle; and her grandchildren, Jaci, Nick, Maranda, Matthew, Randy, Amanda, Bradan and Graice. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Athanasius Catholic Church (5915 Outer Loop, Louisville, KY 40219).
