She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Kirby and Jacqueline Kirby; her husband Robert Orkies; her brother Tom Kirby; and her caregiver Norton Audubon Hospital.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Orkies, Jennifer Orkies-Radu (Ross), Robin Hawthorne (Joe Hawthorne) and Laurie Orkies Dunaway; her grandchildren, Regan Mitchell, London Radu, Isaiah Hawthorne, Megan Dadisman, Garrett Dunaway, Ayden Dunaway and Elle Dunaway; and her siblings, Kate Kirby (Mary), Jim Kirby (Iris) and Reggie Kirby (Ray). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
