He is survived by: his parents, James Tierney and Dawn Tierney (Young) of Louisville; his sisters, Pamela Schlueter (Matthew) and Kayla Decker (Adam); his grandparents, Wade Stevens (Chris) and Ramona Bull (Shane); his nieces and nephews, Maggie, Tinley, Weston, Quinn and Tatum; and his close friend Erich Curl (Trevi Domenica).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kentucky Humane Society.
