She was predeceased by: her parents, John Logan and Beulah Deaton; her husband Charley D. Mallory, Sr.; and her brothers, Samuel Deaton and John Deaton.
She is survived by: her children, Charley Mallory (Sharry) of Scottsburg, IN and Carol Whetzel (Brad) of Pewee Valley, KY.; her siblings, Malvery McKim (Ron) of New Albany, Walter Deaton (Sue) of Scottsburg, William Deaton of Scottsburg and Ronnel Deaton of Scottsburg; her grandchildren, Thomas Mallory of Jeffersonville and Patrick Mallory (Jodi) of Scottsburg; and her great grandchildren, Joseph Mallory of Scottsburg and Adaline Mallory of Scottsburg.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Collins Funeral Home (465 W McClain Ave, Scottsburg, IN 47170). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made in Ruth's name to the Alzheimer's Association through Collins Funeral Home.
