He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Schneider, Sr. and Dolores Schneider; and his siblings, Catherine Weldon (Kit), Beatrice Gaines (Sis), Aline Metzler, Marie Batovsky, Mary Thomas, Br. Edward (Junie), Richard, Anthony, James, David and Robert Schneider.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald, Jr. and Denise Schneider (Clay Davis); his grandchildren, Emily, William and Thomas Davis; and his siblings, Patricia Meschede (William) and Stephen Schneider (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and their children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bosse Funeral Home (1355 Ellison Ave, Louisville, KY 40204). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church (1020 E Burnett Ave, Louisville, KY 40217). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Rd, Louisville, KY 40205). A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in his name to St. Joseph Children's Home.
