He is survived by: his mother Virginia Garner; his wife Margaret Devoe Thornton; his children, Andre and Virginia Marie Devoe Thornton; his granddaughter Kayla Nicole Thornton; his siblings, Micheal, Greg (Lisa), Russell (Monica) and LaKeisha; and his aunt Carrie Thornton.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Zion Baptist Church (1501 Louis Coleman Jr Drive, Louisville, KY 40211).
