He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Bartsch and Norma Bartsch. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Helmbrecht Bassett-Bartsch; his sons, Kevin L. Bassett (Jennifer), Robert J. Bartsch (Veronica), Arnold F. Coates, Michael L. Coates (Linda) and Charles "Chuck" E. Coates; his siblings, Paul W. Bartsch, Denise A. Decker (Joe), Karen L. Preston (Kenny), Laura L. Garvin (Ernie), Carla J. Ramsier (Jack) and Lawrence E. Bartsch (Cindy); and his godchild Morgan M. Simpson. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
