He is survived by: his sons, Robert Tinsley, Jr. and James Tinsley; his grandchildren, Trista and Kaylynn Tinsley; his brothers, Marion Tinsley and Roger Tinsley; his niece Heather Tinsley; and his nephew Shannon Harl.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Dale's Funeral Service. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY 40160).
