He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucile Hayden (Lake) and Henry R. Hayden; his son Charles "Chuck" Hayden; his grandson Steven Kirby, Jr.; his brother George Hayden; and his children, Melinda Sue Kirby, David Allen Hayden, Lori Denise Hayden (Caesar) and Michael Sowder.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jade Smith, Amanda Hipple (William), Cierra Druin (Raymond), Michael Kirby (Lauren), James Martelle and Jordan Archangel; and his great grandchildren, Olyvia Mayes, Hadley Kirby, Parker Kirby, Jaxson Druin, Jace Druin, Ella Hipple and Eden Hipple.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Beulah Presbyterian Church (6704 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
