It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Jane Detoma (Louisville, Kentucky), who passed away on September 6, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John J. DeToma, Jr.; her son James Allen DeToma; and her siblings, Miriam Timmel, Louis Timmel and Leonard Timmel.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie DeToma, Rocky DeToma (Loretta) and Phillip DeToma (Cindy); her grandchildren, Jane Katherine DeToma-Dillon (Lucas) and Phillip August DeToma (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Blakely Ward, Tate Phelps and Jude Nelson; her siblings, Norma Adrio, Delores Quire and Richard J. Timmel; and her close friends, Mary Ann and Thomas Strothman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
