He is survived by: his children, Alicia Henderson of Evanston, IL and Richard Dotson II (Ruqaiyah) of Shelbyville; his siblings, Marcia Wilson of Chicago, IL, Kenneth Navy-Dotson (Rachelle) of Knoxville, TN, Sheila Wilson of Chicago, IL, David Dotson (Sandy) of Skokie, IL and Joanne Dotson-Kennedy (Kevin) of Sacramento, CA; and his grandchildren, Cheyenne Jordan, Chelsea Jordan, Maya Dotson, Richard Dotson III and Cecily Jordan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
