Richard Bertrand Britt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2024, at the age of 79, Richard Bertrand Britt in Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard Bertrand shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard Bertrand farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Britt Sr. and Anna Lee Britt; his wife Nesta; his brother William Britt Jr. (Bill); and his brother-in-law Dennis Ellis.

He is survived by: his children, Tony Britt and Kelly Britt Rodriguez (Daniel); and his sisters, Letitia Ellis and Toni Cummins (Kurt). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
