He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlin Roarx and Hazel Roarx; his brothers, James David and Phillip Ray Roarx; his niece Amanda Roarx; and his nephew Richard Dale Roarx.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Elizabeth Roarx and Allen Roarx; his siblings, Paul, Richard Roarx and Ellen Roarx; and his mother-in-law Mary Alford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, many friends.
