He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Earl Drake and Susan Brabandt Drake; and his brother Amos Earl Drake Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Helen; and his sisters, Katherine Butor of Louisville, Mary Louise Cobb of Louisville, Pauline Wood of Louisville and Margaret Wilkin of St. Paul.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Homes - Dixie Highway (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to his church Resurrection Lutheran Church 4205 Gardiner View Ave, Louisville 40213 or Hosparus of Louisville who provided his final care.
