Randell Lee Sims Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2024, at the age of 72, Randell Lee Sims of Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Braden Sims McGimpsey and Joseph Chestine Sims; and his brother Joseph Sims. He is survived by: his close friend Donna; his significant other Donna Sims; his children, Natalie Fowler (Jimi) and Dylan Sims; his granddaughters, Geneva and Cora; and his siblings, Barney Sims (Raye), Mike Sims (Cherryl), Malea Warden (Rick), Karen Goodman and Laura Ann Jones (Richard).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Homes - Jeffersontown (9318 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40299). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home (9318 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40299). A reception was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Adair County.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Healing Place in Louisville, KY, in honor of Randy Sims.
