She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Rose and Charity Rose; and her sisters, Donna Gibson, Priscilla Stewart and Cathy Newell.
She is survived by: her husband Norman Smith (Buddy); her children, Melanie and James; her sisters, Pamela Potter and Lynn Gibson; and her brother-in-law Tom Smith (Gayle). She is also survived by Her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Nunnelley Chapel (4327 Taylor Blvd, Louisville, KY 40215). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Legacy Nunnelley Chapel (4327 Taylor Blvd, Louisville, KY 40215).
