He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Parker and Janie Belle Parker; his wife Phyllis Parker; his in-laws, Paul Gartin (Sonya), Angela Hickman (Glenn), Michael Gartin, Alice Judkins, Martha Gartin, Jeffrey Gartin, Bill Gartin (Pam), Sarah Curry, Brenda Gartin and Kenneth Gartin; and his aunts, Rose Lee Brannigan, Muslima Habeeb-Allah, Anna Parker and Muzetta Lampkin. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church (5505 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Metro United Way.
