She was predeceased by: her parents, Patricia Wentzel, (Paulin) and Gilbert Wentzel, Sr.; and her brother Thomas Wentzel. She is survived by: her siblings, Gilbert Jr. (Terri), Rebecca Wood (Rick), Larry, MaryLou Grigsby (Bill), Susan and Paul; and her uncle Dick Pontrich. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, 11 great - nieces and nephews, many cousins, and a multitude of neighbors, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Paul II Parish (3539 Goldsmith Ln, Louisville, KY 40220).
