He is survived by: his wife Sarah Joann Rutter; his sons, Michael Wayne Rutter (Kara) of Clarkson and Carl Nelson Rutter (Lisa) of Leitchfield; his grandchildren, Chris, Kaitlyn Morgan, Brandon, Cassie, Josh and Waylon; his great grandchildren, Bryson, Peyton, McCaully, Jameson, Ashton and Cole; his sisters, Norma M. Unruh (Mike) of Fayetteville, N. C and Cheryl A. Rutter-Davis of South Seaville, N. J.; and his nieces and nephews, Mark, Thomas, Michael, Donnie, Carl, Gary, Brian, Karen, Debra, Carla, Roberta and Tina.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Fern Creek Funeral Home (5406 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Funeral Fern Creek Funeral Home (5406 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291).
