With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy L. Meriwether (Louisville, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Kelly and Josie Kelly; her birth mother Nancy Thomas; her son Walter L. Kelly; and her siblings, William Harrison Beach, Walter Stone Jr., David Stone, Charles Henry Stone, James Baker, Ronnie Baker, Jessie Lee Stone and Shirley Ann Beach.
She is survived by: her cousin Anita Thomas; her godchildren, Rodney Thomas Jr., Ryan Thomas, Richard Thomas and Angela Thomas; her sister Charliese Jenkins (George); her sisters-in-law, Jan Baker and Janie Stone; and her cousin Shelbyville.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New Zion Baptist Church (1501 Louis Coleman Jr Drive, Louisville, KY 40211). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
