She was predeceased by: her husband Chester L. Alwes (Ches); her sister Mildred Derr; and her children, Marjorie Winham, Chester L. Alwes, Jr., Mary Ann Megahee and Mark Alwes.
She is survived by: her nieces, Barbara D. Henderson of Rollingsford, NH, Janet Dixon of Denver, CO and Patricia D. Holloway of Midway, KY. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
