He was predeceased by: his father Michael J. Janes; and his grandparents, Margaret, Jefferson Janes, Bertha and Lothar Marx.
He is survived by: his mother Barbara O'Hara (Tuck); his sister Paige Janes (Joe); his nephews, Joseph and David; his close friend Molly M.; and his pet Molly. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Rd, Louisville, KY 40205).
