It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Oost (Louisville, Kentucky), who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Turner and Carrie Turner; and his sister Linda Ryan (Al). He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Andrew Oost (Ellen) and Emily Oost Apenbrinck (Tim); his grandchildren, Margot, Felix Oost, James and Vivian Apenbrinck; his sister Angie Yale (Rich); and his brother-in-law Al Ryan.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael's memory may be made to Louisville Public Media or The Louisville Nature Center.
