He was predeceased by: his father John R. Hobbs; and his brother Jerry Hobbs. He is survived by: his wife Janet Hobbs; his son Jason Hobbs (Laura); his stepdaughter Stephanie Miller (Kenny); his grandchildren, Seth, Garrett, Gage, Avery and Addison; his great grandchild River; his babies, Sadie and Callie; his close friend Dean Mulhall; and also, Elizabeth Hobbs and Marvin Hobbs (Cindy). He is also survived by his son, nephews, and three grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Homes - Dixie Highway (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society, a reflection of Mike's giving spirit and dedication to helping others.
