Michael Gross Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2025, at the age of 78, Michael Gross of Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Michael departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Michael leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bertrand Gross, Sr. and Mary Frances Gross (Owen); his brother Pat Gross; and his sister-in-law Peggy Gross. He is survived by: his siblings, John B. Gross, Jr., Becky Flannery, Beth Gross and Joe Gross (Barb); and also Mike. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Paul II Parish (3539 Goldsmith Ln, Louisville, KY 40220).
