She was predeceased by: her parents, David William and Mary Elizabeth Tucker Routt; her husband Joseph Beatty, Jr.; and her son William Thomas Sloan. She is survived by: her sons, Charles Greenwell (Diane), Kenneth F. Sloan (Mary), Raymond Sloan (Rita) and James Beatty (Carolyn).
