With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jo Brown (Louisville, Kentucky), who passed away on October 24, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mary Jo may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary Jo touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen and Bertrand; her siblings, Robert Brown and Shirley Adams; her siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Brown (Betty) and William Adams; and her great-nephew Kyle Adams. She is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews and10 great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Nazareth Home Clifton Chapel (2120 Payne St, Louisville, KY 40206). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Rd, Louisville, KY 40205).
