She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Anthony and Dorothy H. Barrett; her husband John C. Blackwell, Sr.; and her sister Dorothy "Dottie" Barrett McCandless. She is survived by: her sons, John C. Blackwell, Jr. (Michelle) and Chris M. Blackwell (Wendy); her grandchildren, Carson (Austin), Claire (Joey), Spencer and Camden; her siblings, Helen Barrett and Joseph Anthony "Joe" Barrett, Jr. (Karen); and her great grandchild Cullen M. Mahoney.
