The passing of Mary E. Mery in Louisville, Kentucky leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 2, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Grady Icenhour and Pauline Dunn Icenhour; her husband Edward Mery, Jr.; her son Joseph Edward Mery; her granddaughter Melissa Mery Bennett (Peter); her daughter-in-law Linda Mery; and her siblings, George, John Eisenhower, Ruth Hawkins and Betty Leonard.
She is survived by: her son Martin Hugh Mery (Martha); her grandchildren, Cindy Bischoff (Tony) and Brandon Mery; her stepdaughter Diane Frederick (Tom); her close friend Stan Hornbeck; her stepgrandson Ray Grasmick; her great grandchildren, Luke and Nick Bischoff; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Brandon, Justin Grasmick, Matthew and Erin Frederick; and her sisters, Becki Icenhower and Sue Pleasant. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fern Creek Funeral Home (5406 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, KY/WV Chapter in memory of Mary's beloved granddaughter, Melissa Mery Bennett, and her husband, Peter.
