Mary Elaine Bolander Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Elaine Bolander (Louisville, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Pawley, (Varga) and Lewis B. Pawley, Sr.; her brother Lewis B. Pawley, Jr.; her daughter Debbie; and her grandson John.
She is survived by: her sister Helen Janet Greer; and her children, Karen Moody (Bob), Lynn Maloney (Rick), Albert Bolander, Jr., Pattie Miller-Huber (Kevin) and Margie Bolander. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home (3331 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40205). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Paul II Catholic Church (3521 Goldsmith Ln, Louisville, KY 40220).
