She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Cross and Myrtle Cross (Hughett); and her brother Jerrol Cross. She is survived by: her husband Roy Lay; her daughters, Theresa Warner (Rob), Lenisa Alvey (Mike) and Paula Maderic (Jason); her grandchildren, Damon Kinney (Lindsay), Amanda Kinney, Emily Alvey, Aaron Alvey (Erica), Abi Maderic and Anderson Maderic; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Kaylee, Ava and Landon.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165).
