She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Hamilton and Margaret Hampton Elliott (Hayden); her husband Anthony J. Mitchell, Sr.; her son Matthew Mitchell; and her siblings, Sharon E. Hall and Leo H. Elliott, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Tony Mitchell, Jr., Elaine Hall (Jeff) and Brian E. Mitchell (Kelly); her sister Dorothy Elliott Weikel; and her grandchildren, Anthony, Thomas, Kathryn, William and Lexie. She is also survived by five great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Highlands Funeral Home (3331 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40205). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Agnes Catholic Church (1920 Newburg Rd, Louisville, KY 40205). A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at the St. Michael Cemetery (1153 Charles St, Louisville, KY 40204).
