It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille M. Zimlich of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Lucille may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lucille touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Metcalf and Anna Metcalf; and her daughter Dinah Diersing. She is survived by: her sons, Steve Diersing and Mike Diersing; her granddaughter Jennifer Diersing; and her niece Deborah Sturgeon.
