It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Giancola of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Louis departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Louis may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Louis leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Giancola and Florence Giancola. He is survived by: his son Nick Giancola (Kim); his granddaughters, Emma and Sophie; and his siblings, Albert Giancola (Vicki) and Linda Ann Lee. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ratterman Brothers (12900 Shelbyville Rd, Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Rd, Louisville, KY 40205).
