She was predeceased by: her parents, James Manoah Henson, Jr. and Josephine Smith Henson; her husband Michael Pierce; and her siblings, Jeanne Henson Overby and Earl Henson.
She is survived by: her brother Murrell Henson (Jan) of Hardin, KY; and her grandchildren, Waylon, Eli, Thea, Mary "Polly" and Haley Pierce.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (713 S 4th St, Murray, KY 42071). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kirksey Baptist Church Cemetery (263 Backusburg Rd, Kirksey, KY 42054).
