With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Sue (Smallwood) Moreland Spencer (Louisville, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smallwood and Rita Napier Smallwood; her former husband Charles Moreland; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Moreland; and her siblings, Michael Smallwood and Paula Grimes.

She is survived by: her children, Jamie Moreland, Maria Spencer and Jeffrey Spencer.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
