Lillie Mae Shane Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lillie Mae Shane (Louisville, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Shane; her parents, Vivian Morris and Eddie Mae Morris; and her siblings, J. T., Wayne, Jerry, Rose and Sue.
She is survived by: her children, Violet, Roger and Tetra (Kevin); her grandchildren, Kathy (Chris), Holly (Brett), Michelle (James) and Kelly (Lillie); her great grandchildren, Eryn, Shane, Wyatt, Estashia of Triniti, T. J., Hunter and Keagan; her close friend Ella Mae; and her siblings, Louise, James, Gene and Claudia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman Southwest Funeral Home (4832 Cane Run Rd, Louisville, KY 40216). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Ratterman Southwest (4832 Cane Run Rd, Louisville, KY 40216). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213).
