She is survived by: her sister June; her children, Les Geralds (Donna) and Bonnie Prechtel; her grandchildren, Dennis Griffin, Christi Lowman (Jeff), Andy Griffin (Mindy), Matt Geralds (David), Emily Rives (Will), Jared Shadix (Megan) and Christopher Shadix; her great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Sam, Charlie, Hannah, Lesleigh, Corey, Klarer, Anna, Foster, Maeve and Marlowe; and her great great grandchild Burklee.
Joyce was an avid reader, therefore, in lieu of flowers donations can be made in her honor to Imagination Library of Louisville.
