She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret May, and Robert May, Sr.; and her brothers, Jim Rothfuss and Frank Rothfuss. She is survived by: her children, Denise Eldridge and Dennis Collier, Jr. (Sherri); her granddaughters, Tiffany Davis, Amanda Medley and Melissa Eldridge; her great grandchildren, Julyen, Julius, Jaydes, Michael and Daisy; her siblings, Betty Demala, Mike Rothfuss, Ada Hartz (Jack) and Robert May, Jr. (Valerie); and her pet Stella. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kenwood Heights Christian Church (5620 New Cut Rd, Louisville, KY 40214). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Leila's name to Kenwood Heights Christian Church or Crusade for Children.
