He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Thompson, Jr. and Doris Gramig Thompson; and his daughter Natalie Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Lambert Thompson; his sons, Lee Anthony Thompson, Jr. (Kristin) and Adam Thompson (Brittany); his grandchildren, Connor, Lincoln, Isabelle, Jude and Jonah; and his siblings, John A. Thompson, III, Patrick Thompson (Grace) and Mary Thompson. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Agnes Catholic Church (1920 Newburg Rd, Louisville, KY 40205). A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Rd, Louisville, KY 40205).
