Lawrence H. Rhodes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence H. Rhodes (Louisville, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his former wife Joyce Banks; his children, Dallas and Caleb (Lawrence); his family, Cynthia, Derek and Daryl; his wife Cynthia Marie Rhodes (Taylor); his children, Strauzie Collins, Derek Rhodes and Daryl Rhodes; his grandson Caleb "Buster" Miller; his siblings, Glenn Davis Rhodes (Delores), JoAnn Lee and Carol Thomas (Willie); and his siblings-in-law, Dorene Faye Reed, Diane LaVerne Warren and Julius Edward Taylor. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions in Lawrence's memory be made to Hosparus of Louisville and/or Harry E. Taylor Scholarship Fund through Green Castle Baptist Church (4970 Murphy Lane Louisville, KY 40241).
