As Larry Gene departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Larry Gene. Though Larry Gene may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Nichols (Jones) and Merle Nichols; and his wife Judy Nichols (Corley). He is survived by: his children, Tammy Anderson (Bruce), Renada Boone (Stacy), Teresa Duff (Terry), Scott Nichols (Amy), Bill Ray (Stephanie) and Charlie Nichols (Jackie); his sisters, Janice Feldt and Sandy Nichols (Tommy); and his nephew Todd Feldt. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
