He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Mize and Delmar Parde. He is survived by: his wife Dena Hughs; his son Carl (Dianna); his grandson Tyler; his nephew BJ (Sharon); and his sister Sheila Carskadon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
