He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Garwood Meddis and Jewel Woosley Meddis; his son Kevin Meddis; his sisters, Carolyn Meddis and Darilyn Meddis; and his brother-in-law David Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his son Kyle Meddis; his sisters, Marily Ferguson (Joe), Madalyn Oesterritter (John) and Jacqulyn Crask (Larry); and also Patricia Oldham (Jimmy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals (235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243).
