Kenneth Eugene Lawrence Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Eugene Lawrence of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 16, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lawrence and Margaret Lawrence (Grammer); his wife Carleen Lawrence; his children, Janet Marie Clephas, Peggy Sue Wayland and Peter Alan Lawrence; his brother Jim Lawrence; and his son-in-law Randy Wayland.
He is survived by: his siblings, William E. Lawrence, Jr., Jerry Lawrence (Vikki), Wayne Lawrence (Ginny), Larry Lawrence (Pat), Barbara Swisher and Bob Lawrence (Linda); his son-in-law Jerry Clephas; his grandchildren, Erin Clephas-Schulz (Nathan), Amie Carney (Dusty) and Kevin Wayland; and his caregivers, Donna and Wayne Bruner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and special friends.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions in Gene's memory be made to The Southwest Center (8009 Terry Road Louisville, KY 40258) where his son Peter Alan spent many wonderful years.
