He was predeceased by: his parents, James Collins and Ethel Polly Collins; his siblings, Sylvester Collins, Elmer Collins, Thomas Collins, James Collins, Paul Collins, Vernon Collins, Judy Sadler, Thelma West and Bessie DeWitt; his sons, Gary Scott Gilbert and Dale Wayne Clary, Jr.; and his grandson Kevin Wayne Clary.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jean Collins; his children, Latricia Clary and Steven Clary; his sisters, Catherine Gibson and Lois Smith (Hal); and his pets, Izzy and Jake. He is also survived by grandchildren and an almost full bucket of great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Legacy Funeral Center - Schoppenhorst Chapel (1832 W Market St, Louisville, KY 40203). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
