With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce K. Berry of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 20, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Joyce may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Ogden Berry Jr.; her parents, Lorraine Anthony Kirby and Elva Nadine Kirby; and her siblings, Ernest Anthony Kirby, Richard Kirby and Kathy Yvonne Kirby.
She is survived by: her sisters, Roxane Florence Ward (Christopher Mark Ward) and Wendy Denise Trusty (Dennis Lane Trusty); and her stepdaughter Renee Branum. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren and many other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
