She was predeceased by: her parents, James T. Welch and Inez Mae Welch (Mcquilling); her daughter Brenda Kay Nichols; and her sister Carol Robbins. She is survived by: her daughters, Rita Leadford (Elden) and Judi Davis (Bill); her grandchildren, Michael Lossie, Cassie Hall (Brandon), Samantha DePlata, Joseph Davis (Liz) and Joshua Davis (Emily); and her sister Doris Clark. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40109). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rita Catholic Church (8709 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40219). An entombment was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery After Funeral Service (4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213).
