“I was very sorry to hear of Joe's death, and I want to send my love to all of his family. Due to his army service we ended up in college during some of the same years and in the same dorm. Those were difficult times for many, but seeing Joe, usually in his old army jacket, and talking to him, was always a good thing and would leave me feeling a little more "grounded," I might say, than many other encounters in those days. I'm thinking of you all and remembering Joe, Franklin Heyburn”
